After checking in, we recommend an initial stroll through the historic center—visiting Praça Velha, the Sé Cathedral, and the seaside gardens—to begin connecting with the island's leisurely pace.
Enjoy dinner at your leisure at a local restaurant, where you can savor fresh fish or get your first taste of Azorean cuisine.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will set out by car to explore the island.
The day begins with an ascent of Monte Brasil, an ancient volcano offering the best panoramic views of Angra and the Atlantic Ocean. Next, you will proceed to the Fortress of São João Baptista, one of Portugal's most important historic military complexes.
You will then travel into the island's agricultural interior to the Serra do Cume viewpoint, renowned for its natural mosaic of green fields bordered by volcanic stone walls.
In the afternoon, the route follows the north coast, featuring stops in small fishing villages and a visit to the natural pools of Biscoitos—formed by volcanic lava and a distinctive feature of Terceira.
Return to Angra at the end of the day.
After breakfast, depart for the center of the island to discover two of its natural gems:
A visit to Algar do Carvão, an impressive volcanic chimney that allows you to descend into the earth, and the nearby Gruta do Natal, a volcanic cave featuring unique formations.
In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely tour of traditional villages, where the colorful *Imperios do Espírito Santo*—symbols of local culture—are still preserved.
Free time to enjoy Angra, shop for handicrafts, or simply relax by the sea before your final night on the island.
Inter-island flight to São Miguel. Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and transfer to your hotel in Ponta Delgada, the island's capital.
After settling in, we recommend spending the afternoon exploring the historic center, the harbor, and the *Portas da Cidade* (City Gates), and soaking up the local atmosphere at a terrace café. Overnight in Ponta Delgada.
A day dedicated to one of the Azores' most iconic landscapes.
Departure for the western part of the island to visit Lagoa das Sete Cidades, with stops at various scenic viewpoints offering spectacular views of the blue and green lakes nestled within the volcanic crater.
Continuing along the west coast, featuring landscapes of cliffs, volcanic fields, and natural pools.
Return to Ponta Delgada in the afternoon, with free time to relax or dine at one of the harbor-front restaurants.
After breakfast, departure to the east of the island to discover the volcanic valley of Furnas.
Walk through the fumaroles area, where geothermal activity is constant, and visit Lake Furnas. Possibility of having lunch the famous “cozido das Furnas”, cooked slowly underground with the natural heat of the volcano.
In the afternoon, visit the tea plantations in the north of the island or stops at coastal viewpoints before returning to Ponta Delgada.

Depending on the flight schedule, enjoy some free time for a final stroll through Ponta Delgada or to shop for local products before the transfer to the airport and the end of the trip.
